This
morning we will enjoy a guided tour of Armagh City, the ecclesiastic
center of Ireland including visits to both Armagh Cathedrals.
In the early afternoon we will visit the Ulster American
Folk Park where we follow the route taken by waves of emigrants
from Ireland - by "coffin ship" to new beginnings
in North America - the New World. In the late afternoon there
will be a two hour cruise on Lough Erne, including afternoon
tea/coffee
and
scones. Our hotel for the next two nights will be the Manor
House Hotel, located on the edge of Lower Lough Erne. Overnight

This morning
after breakfast we will travel into county Donegal. We will
take the scenic route around the spectacular Atlantic Coast
- the area is know as the Bloody Foreland. In the Poisoned
Glen, we find the immaculate Glenveagh Castle, now
state owned and maintained but until some years ago the property
of an American Fine Arts professor whose family name can be
found on the label of Tabasco Sauce. Today's journey ends
in the center of the historic "Maiden City", Derry,
on the River Foyle where we spend the next two nights. Dinner
in the hotel. Overnight City Hotel, Derry. (B,D)

After leaving
Derry we take the coastal route passing Downhill Strand and
Mussenden Temple before entering County Antrim. We will visit
two of Ireland's best known attractions today - side-by-side,
here on the north-east coast, one natural and one, some say,
super natural. You may decide which is which - the Giant's
Causeway and Bushmills Distillery. We continue
along the beautiful Antrim Coast, stopping briefly
at the ancestral home of President Andrew Jackson, near Carrickfergus,
before arriving at our final hotel. Overnight Holiday Inn
Hotel, Belfast (B,D)
