RESPONSIBILITY:
Isle Inn Tours, 1023 Queen St., Alexandria, VA 22314 is not responsible
for any personal injury, property damage or other loss a passenger
incurs on any tour arising from acts or omissions by any air carrier,
public transport company, hotel, car rental company, subcontractor
or other person or organization, whether or not such company is rendering
any services supplied on the tour. All tickets and vouchers are issued
and supplied subject to the foregoing and to any and all terms and
conditions under which transportation and services are provided. Isle
Inn Tours accepts no responsibility for losses or expenses due to
delay or changes in schedules, flight cancellations due to mechanical
problems, sickness, weather, strikes, war, quarantine or other causes.
Passengers must bear all such losses or expenses. Luggage is carried
at owner's risk throughout the tour. Hand baggage and small articles
such as coats, umbrellas or cameras are entirely in the care of the
passengers. Isle Inn Tours reserves the right to decline to accept
or to return any person as a member of any tour or to cancel or alter
the tour. Airline tariffs limit liability for passenger baggage.
DEPOSITS &
FINAL PAYMENTS: Non-refundable deposits of $300 per person
are required for coach tours. On independent travel packages, full
payment is due within 24 hours or 7 days of booking. On escorted motorcoach
tours, full payment is due 90 days prior to departure. Written authorization
is required for all credit card charges. Failure to pay by "Final
Payment Due" date noted on invoice may result in cancellation
and/or late fees to maintain booking, regardless of receipt of deposit.
DOCUMENTATION:
All tour documents will be sent to the travel agent approximately
15 days prior to the departure of the tour, provided full payment
has been received. In the event this is not acceptable, we require
sufficient notice in order to avoid express shipping charges. If we
are not given sufficient notice, the passenger or travel agent will
be responsible for express delivery charges.
AIR TRANSPORTATION:
All fares are subject to government approval. Prior to ticketing,
airfares are subject to change without notice. Airfares are guaranteed
once they have been paid in full. Isle Inn Tours is not responsible
for mechanical breakdowns, government actions, weather, acts of God,
acts of war, misconnections or related expenses to/from flights or
other circumstances beyond its control. Once travel is completed Isle
Inn Tours cannot issue copies of airline tickets for clients with
frequent flyer programs. Therefore the traveler should keep the passenger
coupon at the back of the airline ticket. Most airlines are now charging
a fee for a second checked bag. Please ask for details at time of
booking.
NAME CHANGES:
Aer Lingus - All Aer Lingus fares are non-refundable/non-transferrable
once issued. Unused group tickets have no value for future travel.
Name changes may be made PRIOR to the travel date for a fee of $200.
Date changes prior to the original travel date carry a $150 per segment
fee plus any increase in airfare. Other Carriers - Tickets are non-refundable
once issued. Some carriers may allow you to use the value of your
ticket less a penalty for future travel. Please inquire at the time
of booking what restrictions are in place. Client or travel agent
must supply Isle Inn Tours with passengers' legal full name as it
appears on passport and will be liable for any change fees if erroneous
information is provided.
ACCOMMODATION:
Land arrangements are provided as described in each tour program.
Isle Inn Tours reserves the right to substitute hotel accommodations
in similar categories.
MEALS: Meals are provided as specified in each tour program.
Dinners in hotels are on a table d'hote basis.
CHILDREN: Children are welcome on all customized itineraries.
The escorted tours in our brochure are appropriate for children under
12.
VISITS, ENTERTAINMENT & OTHER FEATURES: Isle Inn Tours
reserves the right to substitute visits, entertainment and other features
when establishments are closed or cannot be visited for reasons beyond
our control. In the event a scheduled entertainer is unable to accompany
a tour, every effort will be made to secure alternate & comparable
entertainment. Cancellation by the entertainer for reasons outside
of our control will not be reason for cancellation of the tour, refund
by tour operator, and will not be covered under insurance.
LUGGAGE: Handling of one piece of luggage per person is included
in the cost of all coach tours. One suitcase per person is permitted
and size should not exceed 30 x 20 x 10 inches and should not exceed
44 pounds. Airlines have their own luggage allowances & some charge
additional fees; consult your airlines regulations priort to travel.
GRATUITY: Gratuity for the driver/guide is not included in
any group or chauffeur drive tour, unless otherwise specified, and
is at your sole discretion.
CAR RENTAL
INFORMATION - Driver must produce a current drviing license
issued in their state or country of residence without endorsements.
RENTAL PERIOD:
A
weekly car rental is defined as a 7 day rental. One day is equivalent
to 24 hours. Please consider arrival and departure flights when reserving
your car rental.
AGE
LIMIT: Hirers must be over 25 years and under 76 years of age.
Certain restrictions for drivers under the age of 30 apply.
INSURANCE:
All rental cars in Ireland include Third Party Insurance. This means
that if you have an accident, the other party is covered, you and
your car are not covered. Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) Premium Package
is available - see page 3 for details. CDW is mandatory in Ireland.
The clients is responsible for CDW insurance. You can obtain CDW insurance
in one of the following ways:
1. By purchasing CDW through Isle Inn Tours at the time of booking
2. By purchasing the CDW from the rental car company at the commencement
of the rental period
Please
note: MOST credit card companies have discontinued CDW coverage in
Ireland. If you hold one of the select credit cards that do provide
the coverage and you wish to avail of that benefit then you must purchase
yoru entire package on that credit card and present the credit card
with written documentation of coverage for the dates of travel in
Ireland from your credit card company to the car rental compnay upon
commencement of the rental. All car rental rates are inclusive of
VAT at 13.5%
LOCATION SERVICE CHARGE: A LSC of 26 Euros per rental is applicable
when clients opt not to prepay car insurance. The LSC is waived when
CDW insurance is purchased in advance.
DRIVER & BAGGAGE PROTECTION: Driver & Baggage Protection
is optional at €5.50 per day and is paid to the car rental company
directly.
THEFT PROTECTION: TP provides clients with coverage for theft
of the rental vehicle. This cost is included in the CDW Premium Package.
CREDIT CARDS: Clients are required to give a credit card imprint
deposit to cover such items as fuel, insurance, extras or damage.
ADDITIONAL DRIVER: There is a supplementary charge of €9.50
per day to cover an additional driver payable directly to the car
rental company. First additional driver is included in the Premium
CDW package.
GASOLINE: The purchase of gasoline is the hirer's responsibility
and is not included in the car rental price. The rental will be supplied
with a full tank of gasoline which must be replaced or paid for upon
return of vehicle.
NORTHERN IRELAND RENTALS: Seperate terms and conditions apply.
FIT
PACKAGES: Our agents will be pleased to assist you with your fully
independent travel plans. We require a $300 per person non-refundable
deposit. After accommodations have been confirmed, there will be a
$50 fee to change, cancel or alter each reservation.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS: Airfare cancellation penalties
are set forth under Air Transportation. Refunds cannot be made to
any passenger who does not complete the tour. In the event of cancellation
by the Tour Operator, Tour Operator's liability shall be limited to
a refund of all tour payments by the tour participants to the Tour
Operator. All cancellations and request for refunds must be submitted
in writing to the Tour Operator, and refunds will be made within 14
days of receipt of your notice of cancellation. In addition to the
airline penalties imposed and a processing fee of $300 per person,
the following land penalties apply to all cancellations:
60-31 days prior to departure 25% of land price
30-16 days prior to departure 50% of land price
15-03 days prior to departure 75% of land price
Less than 72 hours & no show 100% of tour price
Self-catering properties, chauffeur driven vacations and activity
holidays carry separate penalties.
REVISIONS: Any changes to land arrangements made after the
original booking has been processed will incur a $50 per change handling
fee. No revisions will be accepted within 14 days of departure.
UNUSED TOUR VOUCHERS: Any tour vouchers for hotels, B&Bs,
car rental or any other unused services are not exchangeable or refundable.
IMPORTANT: To guard against unforeseen circumstances, we recommend
you purchase our optional travel
protection insurance plan.We recommend you review the outline
on page 13 and elect the Optional Travel Insurance included on your
invoice. If prices are misquoted or misprinted, the passengers will
be offered the tour at the correct price or may cancel with a full
refund.
